Established over 30 years ago as the Union County Art League, the name was changed in 2003 to attract a wider area of membership and interests. The Southern Piedmont Artists Guild (SPAG) is a nonprofit organization offering workshops, educational programs and interaction with artists and supporters of the visual arts. SPAG publishes a monthly newsletter, provides show venues and networks with art organizations statewide to offer a broad range of opportunities for its members.
